Site was clean and it's easy to find off BW8. That was about the only positive I can say about this center (hence the 2 stars). I have tested at 3 other locations over the last year, and this was the only one that sat all testers in one large room. It was noisy and distracting every time someone came in or out. But, the real kicker was I visited this center first week of August 2022, a time when literally no place -- business, school, or work -- requires face coverings still. I haven't worn a mask in months and don't carry them in my bag or car anymore, but the staff would not allow me to test without a mask. When I asked for a disposable mask to wear I was told I could go to the gas station across the street and buy one if I needed a mask, but that I couldn't test without one. I could understand that a year -- or even 6 months ago -- but literally no where requires a mask anymore. If you are going to mandate face coverings when it is no longer a societal norm, you should keep a disposable supply on hand to provide to testers if needed. As it was, I had to leave to go purchase one and ended up starting my exam late with the time deducted from my test taking time. Then, to add insult to injury, half the test taking room wasn't wearing a mask and several employees had theirs off as well. What was the point of making me leave and go buy a mask if wearing a mask wasn't even really mandatory?

Although my exam was extremely hard, this Pearson VUE center made me feel better about the overall experience. Staff were accommodating and friendly. The inside was quiet, clean, and neat. Exam was promptly started on time with no distractions, and the check-in/out processes were organized. I went in for an 8AM exam at 7:30AM, and I was able to start right at 8AM. Highly recommend this place! Good luck to ya'll who are taking exams over here.

Would recommend this location to anyone taking a Pearson test! Much better experience than another Pearson location I’ve been to. Professional staff, quick service, lockers to store your things in, and even a water cooler! My testing experience went smoothly here.

I took an exam at this location back in January 2021. The staff were friendly and the facility was inviting. However, the chair was very uncomfortable. This greatly affected my testing experience since the majority of my time was spent sitting. I discovered this is a problem at most locations so it isn't specific to this location. Thankfully the room was quiet and I did not need to use the noise-cancelling headphones.

Great testing center! Found it based on reviews, not too many, but consistent. So, here I am confirming the excellent experience with Pearson VUE, 10740 N Gessner Rd #450, Houston, TX 77064 at 4.floor of building shared with Art institute. Easy instructions, how to get there and park. Very friendly and professional staff - it makes the whole difference just before an important exam! The testing room temperature was great, not too hot/cold. People were allowed to have sweaters which were checked by security either on or on seat rest. Well equipped, have even noise-canceling headsets ready next to PC at the testing seat/desk. For my exam, I got a pen, calculator and erasable sheets, more than needed to use. In case you can afford a break with a security check, water was available next to lockers, and restrooms in the hall. Happy I chose this place for my 4-hour exam.
