Its like being in prison during checkin and checking out. If you have test anxiety, do not come to this place. Staff are belittling before and after test.

Took the NCLEX here today and was very pleased with the facility. Arrived at around noon and there was plenty of parking. Took only about 15 minutes to sign in and get started. Bathroom was clean and the staff were friendly. No complaints!

I don’t normally write reviews but I did not appreciate my experience at this center. I usually take my exams at the Pearson Center in Alhambra (would highly recommend that center!!!) and I am quite familiar with the process. Today I decided to take my exam at this center and I could not figure out the locker, since it had an additional lock that I had not seen in previous test centers. The woman at the front, did not get her name, expressed things in a very mean and rude manner. She stated “once you touch one locker you can’t touch another one, we disinfect each after every use” but in a manner that did not sit well with me. I understand the protocols and have no problem with them, what I did have a problem with was the mannerism and tone used. Please be nicer to others, personally I would frame that as “I’m sorry, once you choose a locker you have to use that one because of Covid protocols, do you need assistance?” I just wish people would reflect on how to properly communicate with others, in a friendly manner rather than being so mean, my day went from a 7 to a 2 with that encounter and I could not get it out of my mind during my exam. Every interaction counts, being nice and showing empathy literally does not require extra effort.

Why make an appointment if the testing center does not respect it? I got to the testing center 30 mins early for my 8am appointment and I was not attended until 8:45am. This was my first time at the testing center so I did not understand the procedure; I asked the lady with curly hair up front if I had to sign in and she responded so rudely saying "we sign you in when we call you". When I was finally called, they would not check me in because I did not read their sheet of rules. I told her I did not receive one and she looked so offended and told me that it was impossible because her assistant walked around passing them. She told me to sit down and read it only for me to come back to the desk to have her repeat the same instructions in 10 Seconds. A complete waste of everyone's time. We as the test takers pay a lot of money for these exams and they're service is trash.

Overall, my experience at Pearson Center was pleasant. I was a bit confused on their processing system but was able to figure it out. I arrived about 15 minutes early therefore was asked to wait until all 3:30 appointment were checked in. So it is best to arrive closer to your scheduled time since they go based on appointment times. The staff was friendly and are just there to do their job. The security protocol is on point so be prepared to agree to all terms in order to do your test.
